Here are some examples of podcasts that have been created using a digital voice recorder.
This first example is of a recorded narration to accompany a powerpoint presentation. Students could either open the presentation on their computer and then begin the sound file, working through the presentation, or alternatively, some students said that they printed the presentation as a handout, downloaded the podcast to their mp3 player and worked through it that way, making notes as they went. This is simple, but effective.
The above example was created by Zoe McCarthy in the School of Health and Emergency Professions, at the University of Hertfordshire.
