Podcasts to augment lectures in Pharmaceutical Microbiology
I have produced a series of nine, video podcasts for my 2nd year MPharm students. The podcasts are 5-10 minutes long and are summaries of two of my 50 minute lectures in pharmaceutical microbiology. The students are expected to watch them before coming to the live lectures so that they are better prepared for the material and are able to assimilate it more easily. The podcasts consist of screen grabs of PowerPoint slides, simple diagrams, movie clips and animations. I have put together a demo podcast (below) for this wiki, using elements from the nine podcasts. To watch it you will need a player, such as Quicktime v7, which can play .mp4 files.

Malcom,
very impressed with podcasts. What have you used to put them together and export the MP4?
