• Involvement of the student voice - if all attendees can bring a brief recording (<2 minutes) of a discussion with a student about a question relating to the student perception of educational podcasting we would generate a lot of data that would allow us to challenge assumptions such as 'students will like educational podcasting because they use MP3 players' - what's the reality? We could then do some group work based around playlists and feed back in a plenary. (Andrew Middleton, a.j.middleton@shu.ac.uk)
• Case study generation involving groups of more experienced and less experienced people (Andrew Middleton, a.j.middleton@shu.ac.uk)
• 'Blue-sky' brainstorming for designing learning tasks suitable for podcasting - thinking outside of the box to break down the tendency to merely replicate teacher-centred transmission model. (Mary Jacob mhj@aber.ac.uk)
• Discuss drawing up institutional profiles of technology used, such as software used (Audacity, Camtasia, etc.), type of recorders (make/model), delivery (Blackboard learning objects, iTune University, 'true' podcasting or just making media clips available for download, etc.). This will make it easier for institutions wishing to develop this area, as they can see what others are doing and possibly contact them for specific advice. (Mary Jacob mhj@aber.ac.uk)
• Gathering information on types of personal equipment students possess for listening to/watching podcasts and eliciting their experience of using podcasts outside the university environment  -  for example subscribing to BBC podcasts or podcasts from other sources  (Malcolm Andrew, mhea@dmu.ac.uk)
• I am particularly interested in the aspect of staff training, particularly for staff who are not 'techies'. For this reason I use a product called Podium, which is used in schools a lot and is a very easy piece of software to use and will get staff producing good quality audio podcasts very quickly. It is now multi-tracking and when purchased even gives the podcaster a place to host the podcasts for a year. I'd be happy to do a short presentation on this in April. (Robert Heath
