Travel Directions to Glasgow Caledonian University

Glasgow Caledonian University is situated at the heart of the City of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland, close to all major transport links. This means that no matter where you are in the country, travelling to the university is very simple, whether it's by plane, train or automobile.

Rail

The university is situated within walking distance of both Queen Street Station (google maps directions) and Central Station (google maps directions). For details on train times, why not visit the National Rail Enquiries Service.

Bus

The University is only 200 yards from Buchanan Bus Station (google maps).

Underground

The university is close to both Buchanan Street (google maps) and Cowcaddens stations (google maps). See the Subway website for further details.

Car

The University is easily accessible from Junction 16 (Westbound) or Junctions 15 & 17 (Eastbound) of the M8 motorway. Although no parking is available on campus, there is ample space available at the nearby Concert Hall car park (google maps) and the Buchanan Galleries (google maps).

Airport

Glasgow Airport is situated approximately 10 miles to the west of the City Centre, approximately 30 minutes by Taxi. The Glasgow Flyer Direct bus service runs from stance 1 at Glasgow Airport every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day and drops off at Buchanan Bus Station which is directly opposite the University and even has free Wi-Fi on board!
